Catch up

1. shit, i havent updated in about a month... sorry

2.hahahahaha ok, so this probably doesnt seem as funny as i found it. now the background of this story is unimportant. but basically, to those who bother to read:
any online conversation started with repeated words or repeated vowels constitutes as a booty call
Ex.
>>hihihihihih
>>heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
>>hiiiiiiiiiii
>>heyheyhey
etc. etc.
and on top of that, "watchadoin" out of nowhere constitutes as a booty call. so really, if you hear one of those coming from me, understand the reference hahaha, good to joke around

3. greek fraternities and sororities
> now dont get me wrong, theres absolutely nothing wrong with brotherhood and sisterhood... ok maybe. to me, there are only three types of people that would consider greek life

A. The Rich Legacy - ah the high and mighty of society, these people actually use their source to their benefit. this type of group actually gains connections and what not from their predecessors. but then again, their rich and well connected anyways. oh well. still doesnt stop them from being ass holes.

B. The Athletic Washout - the name says it all. all they want to do is party

C. The Social Outcast - the name also says it all, its the people who have trouble finding their own group who are attracted to the "glamor" of a sorority/fraternity.

all in all? dont bother yourself with greek life :-\, the parties suck, you DONT get connections unless you belong to group A. so please, stop lying to yourself. however, if your in for the parties, by all means go right ahead. but atleast attend a school with good greek life... it kinda blows over here... house parties/dorm parties are better, there are no skanks! ahaahahhaa

4. in less shitty news. i finally got an A in CW112 ahahaha. yay

5. overall, quality of life is on the upswing, despite the downturn of the economy lol.... lets hope i dont fuck it up

6. AHAHAHHAHAHA

7. oh, and i think ive fully agreed with the idea that exes cant be friends, it simply doesnt work. but of course there are always exceptions, maybe its only me haha. but then again the people i dated in hs were not exactly the best of people. oh well lol

The Night

Webster Hall
Webster Hall at night, 10.10.2008.

its been a crazy week. but i don't know, a lot of it has allowed me to think about some stuff. i mean there is a ton of things that have been running throughout my mind. obviously, the night time is one of them. i mean, to me, the night is the best time of day. sure theres no one around, but it shows life at a standstill. dont get me wrong, i love the day time too, but night just works out better for me. right now outside its pretty foggy and not to mention hella late at night. but calming none the less. I was talking with a friend a few days ago, and the idea of liking the night somehow shows that you as a person prefer to work in the background, kinda un noticed. at night everyone is sleeping, and you really only have the nightshift workers who alot of the times, are behind the scene, restocking shelves and what not. like at market basket, whenever i left after closing , there would be a whole other shift just walking in as i left, and i know that some retial stores have their own night shift to completely clean the store. now weather or not thats enough evidence to support my claim, its what i believe. but seriously, consider sitting outside one night and taking it all in, we all need a break, and the night is where youre going to get it.

yet for the rest of the week, its been in and out of the library. basically double allnighter trying to write that damn english paper. (its on genetic engineering and human cloning). today in class it was probably one of the best classes ive had, people actually complimented my writing, which is quite rare haha... but i do know i need to work on that essay still... oh well

yet aside from not sleeping, i basically had a 3 day weekend within my week, tuesday we got off, wednesday i skipped and thursday i skipped, one because i was jsut too tired and the other because i slept right through it lol.

and i cant wait till thanksgiving... its only a week and a half away, but hell not only is it the food i look forward too, its my damn friends. havent seen most of them since we all went our separate ways, but im positive that it will be interesting to hear all of their stories. sure i have a few, but none are really worth telling.

also, to the few who read... feedback would be appreciated :)

what now...?

so obviously alot has changed since the last post
and i guess there are a few things that i feel like i want to update upon:

friday i shot the Umass Women's Soccer game Vs. St. Louis and i got this one shot that made me laugh a little

and friday, as many are familiar with was Halloween, in the collegian i read an amusing op/ed about how halloween has become more or less an excuse for college kids (mostly girls) to dress slutty. haha if anyone else read it, they would proably agree. but still. at first i didnt want to dress up, but my friend invited me to this party he was going to so i kinda felt obligated to dress up. last minute decision: be a bro. lol a mix between

and

and for the record... i had 5 popped collars on hahahahhahaa

sunday was rather lax. had dominoes baked sandwhiches, not bad a bit pricey but filling... i think...

as far as academics go, beasted socio (94 midterm!!!!) and getting fucked over in english, c- on that fuckin last essay we had.. oh well. i guess just hope for the best no?

---
now heres something that i usually dont talk about: politics
just in MA,
1 no (good)
2 yes (yay?)
3 no (w/e)

one thing that pisses me off about many college kids is that they think just because we voted yes on two doesnt mean its legal... its just decriminalized, which is good, but its still no reason start waving your dimebags in front of the cops now.. you can still get fined and all lol...

as for brobama, i cant help but feel the way i've always felt: indifferent. politics was never an interesting point for me, and if you think about it, we're screwed either way, our economy blows etc etc. there are hundreds of arguements for and against obama and hundreds for and against mccain. as an article in the collegian put it today "obama is an idealist while mccain is a realist" and we just believe (and hope) that obama can save our damned economy...
so what i guess im saying is, dont be overconfident with our new president elect, just be cautious, i mean after all, he is realtively young.

haha w/e, fuck it all, as the title of this blog goes:

Sane?

yes. no. just a few things ive noticed as stress increases:
Appetite decreases :-\
Amount of swearing incrases exponentially
"fuck my lifes" increases
Hours Slept plummets.
# of classes slept thru increases
bitchiness increases..
---
you get the point.

anyways, it supposedly snowed a little today... i slept through it, but i hate snow. i have this lingering feeling that im just gonna fall down the hill one of these days. it wont be a pretty sight.

i had a great time this weekend, visited my friend @ Gordon, saw another from Notre Dame and MIT. and visited some old friends from High School. saw my cousin at Sufflok U. very very jealous of her and her school. def beats the view here.

Master at Physics/ and others

yeah thats me. hahahha. one thing that people say about engineers is that they're resourceful. yes well, for physics 151: intro to physics, we use this online homework tool called mastering physics. now the lectures for this class is more or less a flat out joke, but the homeworks are insanely annoying. the first one was alright, but its getting progressively harder, and this is almost exactly the same as AP Physics B, but just more of a bitch because you actually have to do homework now... but anyways, i usually work with a group of people, and we all soldier right through the homeworks but lately we've spending in excess of 2 to three hours one night a week on this webassign. but getting back to resourcefulness, Google and Yahoo are your friends... the questions you dont know how to answer can generally be looked up online because someone out there has the same question. and soemtimes questions from the book are used, and as many of you know, odd numbered ones are in the back!
moral of this story?
know what your resources are, and use the shit out of them, the interent can never hate you!

--
anyways, this weekend, heading back home! gonna hit up some old friends who are still in school and one whose over at Gordon College.

pictures coming soon!

Essays

I think i might be legitimately retarded....
i can never seem to pound out these essays like i used to be. nor is there any sort of will for me finish this essay. like the carrot is missing from that stick :-\
but then again, this isnt the first time where i'm at a loss for motivation. i cant believe its only 12 though..

this essay that im supposed to read and comment on is called How to tame a wild tongue by Gloria Anzaldua, and its more or less some mexican girl ranting about how shes so special becuase she can speak eight dialects of spanish and english. she also feels like the white man is trying to oppress her. but hey, freedom of speech no?
